Your role will include:
A leading research lab is seeking a Bioinformatics Specialist to work with multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and more) in an advanced research environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and integration of complex biological datasets
- Development and maintenance of data processing pipelines and computational infrastructures
- Close collaboration with researchers on data interpretation and experimental design
Skills and abilities:
- PhD in Bioinformatics or a related field
- Proven experience working with bioinformatics tools and infrastructures
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience working with multi-omics data
- Familiarity with R and relevant statistical/bioinformatics packages
- Experience in integrating complex datasets
