A well-established company in the financial sector is looking for a System Engineer.
The role includes:
Planning, installation, and support of Linux servers (physical and virtual).
Performing ongoing system tasks, including installation and upgrades of operating systems, applications, and products, improving server performance, configuring server connections to storage, implementing information security hardening, writing scripts, etc.
Installation and support of physical Linux servers in a Cluster configuration (using Veritas Cluster).
Planning, installation, and support of OpenShift K8s platform, including implementation of automation processes using ArgoCD.
Installation and support of API Management platform Kong.
Implementing automation processes, including writing Roles and Playbooks on the Ansible platform.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience in a Linux System role (with emphasis on RedHat OS) – mandatory
Knowledge and experience in writing automation processes in Ansible – mandatory
Knowledge and experience in maintaining Kubernetes platform – an advantage
Knowledge and experience working with systems: Ansible Automation Platform, Satellite, Jfrog – an advantage
Knowledge and experience working with distributed systems, including use of components: storage, backup, monitoring & control, communication – an advantage
Good teamwork skills and high service orientation
Ability to manage tasks independently מול internal and external stakeholders
Ability to handle parallel tasks while meeting goals according to priorities
High service orientation
Willingness to work beyond standard working hours
