We are seeking a hands-on R&D Tech Lead to oversee our R&D efforts and guide our technical roadmap. This role is designed for a leader who excels at solving complex architectural challenges while remaining deeply involved in the codebase. You will manage two remote developers and work closely with company leadership to ensure our technology supports our long-term business goals.
The Role
- Act as the primary technical authority, defining the R&D strategy and overcoming engineering bottlenecks.
- Maintain a strong hands-on presence (approx. 70% development) while managing a remote team of two.
- Manage the technical budget, resource allocation, and quarterly financial forecasting.
- Interface with management to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- 2-3+ years of experience leading a development team.
- Professional background in AdTech, Digital Advertising, or high-scale digital platforms.
- A proven ability to lead from the front and stay active in the code.
- Experience at high-scale companies (e.g., Taboola, Outbrain, ironSource) is highly advantageous.
- A desire to take on increasing responsibility and grow into more senior leadership positions as the company scales.
