Israel Aerospace Industries Systems Division is seeking an experienced Mission System Engineer to work on the next generation of mission management systems for manned aircraft.

The Role-

  • Characterize and design software components for the next generation of mission management systems for manned mission aircraft.
  • Interface with business stakeholders and customers to understand operational needs and adapt the mission management system as both a generic product and a unique operational solution per project.
  • Participate actively in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) with clients.
  • Act as an active participant in cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
  • Utilize systems engineering tools to define system architecture, capabilities, requirements, and processes.
  • Lead development and verification processes alongside the software and systems integration teams.
  • Create presentations, support system integration, and travel abroad as needed.

Tech Stack & Environment-

  • Methodologies: Systems Engineering, Design Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR), IPT

Requirements & Qualifications-

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience as a lead system architect in software-intensive systems.
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and technical presentation skills for both engineering teams and clients.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Ability to define solutions that meet project goals (scope, schedule, and budget).
  • High-level systemic vision combined with the ability to dive into technical details.
  • High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
