A company in the defense and aerospace sector is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer (Board Design) to join its Missile and Space Systems Division.
The role-
- Participate in defining the architecture of avionics and ground systems, including design reviews and technical discussions
- Develop electronic enclosures and circuit boards following product development processes
- Define hardware–firmware–software integration documentation and perform integration activities
- Contribute to final system integrations and testing
- Manage subcontractors developing electronic boards and enclosures
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering – required
- 5 years of experience in electronic circuit design
- 5 years of experience developing digital and analog boards for airborne systems, covering specification, layout supervision, integration, and production transfer
- 5 years of experience in hardware/firmware/software integration
- 5 years of experience in High-Speed Board Design, Signal Integrity, preparing design and system documentation, layout guidance, and generating interface and summary reports
- System-level perspective with the ability to design hardware architecture for projects
- Broad knowledge in complex electronic circuit design, including CPU, DDR, and FPGA components, with experience in layout, integration, and subcontractor guidance
- Knowledge in Signal & Power Integrity simulations
- Experience supporting compliance and qualification testing through production release
