Mechanical Design Engineer

Israel Aerospace Industries Systems Division is seeking an experienced Electronic Packaging Engineer to join their team.

The Role

• Develop and design multidisciplinary systems for military and space applications.
• Lead deep electronic packaging tasks, including manufacturing technologies, assembly methods, and verification processes.
• Apply high-level design capabilities while addressing extreme environmental constraints such as thermal management and vibrations.
• Collaborate across a variety of interfaces both within and outside the division.
• Meet challenging schedules and project milestones.

Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
• 6 years of experience in mechanical design.
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering (an advantage).
• Managerial or leadership experience as a Team Lead, Project Manager, or Systems Engineer (an advantage).
• Knowledge and understanding of the following areas: missile structures, CAD (תיב"ם), manufacturing processes, aerodynamics, and strength calculations (an advantage).
