Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong mechanical design and analysis capabilities to join our mechanical development team.

The position reports to the Mechanical Team Leader.

Job Description:

• Integration into the company’s mechanical development team, with interfaces to R&D teams, management, and customers.
• Mechanical design and packaging development for the company’s marine systems.
• Development of ruggedized and industrial enclosures for project systems (airborne and ground-based).
• Performing mechanical analyses (thermal, structural, and dynamic) using SolidWorks Simulation.
• Supporting the development and design of electronic boards from a mechanical and enclosure perspective.
• Understanding and supporting the transition from development to production.
• Management, supervision, and inspection of mechanical manufacturing at subcontractors and system assembly during integration stages.
• On-site installations and technical support for customers in Israel and abroad.

 Job Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – at least 5 years of experience in mechanical development.
• Proven experience in mechanical packaging design for complex systems.
• Proven experience in enclosure design with emphasis on thermal management using passive and active cooling methods.
• Strong ability to present designs and interface with customers, management, and electronic development teams.
• Mandatory experience in structural and thermal analyses.
• Advantage for candidates with experience in marine or underwater systems.
• Mandatory knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Mandatory experience with PDM systems.
• Experience with Priority ERP – advantage.
• High level of English
