Security Researcher

A successful and highly innovative cybersecurity company developing next-generation security systems for the automotive and transportation industries.

Founded in collaboration with a major global automotive manufacturer by former senior defense and security officials, the company operates in a unique niche with minimal competition.

They secure both in-vehicle systems and enterprise infrastructure to prevent cyberattacks, data breaches, and remote manipulation.

Located in central Tel Aviv (accessible by train), the company operates on a hybrid model with two days of remote work per week.

The Role

• Join a highly specialized, dynamic research team, reporting directly to the Team Leader.
• Conduct low-level vulnerability research and reverse engineering on embedded systems within the automotive domain.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities in mission-critical systems and hardware components.
• Work hands-on to prevent potential threats and secure critical infrastructure.

Requirements-

• 3+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field
• Strong reverse engineering skills
• A proven interest in offensive research and vulnerability exploitation
• At least 2 years in penetration testing or a research-focused role
• Ability to understand and analyze complex systems and identify critical security gaps
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving and a passion for learning new technologies
• Experience with embedded systems (either in research or development) – an advantage
