Data Lead – REplace

📍 Remote (Argentina) | Full-time

REplace is an AI-powered M&A intelligence platform for renewable energy. We help developers, investors, and acquisition teams identify viable projects, evaluate inbound deals, and track market activity across interconnection queues.

We work with leading global energy companies such as EDF Renewables, Iberdrola, Hanwha, and Lydian, and are backed by top energy-focused investors.

We are looking for a Data Lead to take ownership of our data engineering culture and practices.

This is a technical leadership role where you will manage a team of 4 data engineers, work closely with the CTO, and play a key role in scaling our data infrastructure and products. You will inherit a strong foundation and take it to the next level in terms of reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Lead and coordinate a team of data engineers

• Own and improve data pipelines (ingestion, processing, storage)

• Design scalable architectures for large structured and semi-structured datasets

• Ensure data quality, validation, and monitoring across systems

• Work hands-on with Python, PostgreSQL, and Airflow

• Optimize data infrastructure on Azure

• Define data engineering standards and best practices

• Collaborate with product and operations teams

• Contribute to the development of data products and APIs

• 3+ years leading or coordinating data engineering teams

• 3+ years of hands-on Python experience in data engineering

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling

• Experience working with large-scale data systems

• Background in data quality, monitoring, or observability

• High proficiency in English

• Experience in energy, utilities, or renewable markets

• Familiarity with Apache Airflow

• Experience with Azure cloud services

• 100% remote (Argentina)
