We are looking for a hands-on WordPress developer to build, scale, and maintain modern, high-performance platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean architecture, custom development, and working closely with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
The position is based in Northern Israel, offering the opportunity to be part of a growing and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Build and integrate APIs and third-party services
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security across platforms
- Improve site architecture, loading times, and SEO capabilities
- Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
- Take ownership of features end-to-end — from development to deployment
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress (custom themes & plugins) — must
- Solid experience with modern PHP development practices
- Strong understanding of MySQL and database optimization
- Frontend skills: HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrations
- Familiarity with build tools (Vite / Webpack / npm) — advantage
- Experience with Git and modern deployment workflows
- Strong understanding of performance, security, and SEO best practices
