We're looking for an excellent Costing Economist to join our Finance team in a meaningful and challenging role.
What You Will Do:
- Project pricing, based on project procedures, checklists and specifications.
- Conduct data validation, identify "red flags" and complete missing information as needed.
- Work in strong partnership with core corporate functions such as: Engineering,Commercial, Procurement, Marketing and Logistics departments to ensure seamless execution and cost accuracy.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based calculation tools to improve departmental efficiency.
- Lead pricing proposal presentations in executive meetings and work with senior leadership.
- Participate and contribute to global projects
Location: Kadima
Reports to: Costing Department Manager
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background – Advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cost estimation within a medium to large organization – A Must
- Experience in pricing large, complex projects within the process industry - Significant advantage.
- Strong technical orientation or familiarity with infrastructure/ water treatment projects.
- English – full proficiency
- Ability to drive processes and people, work independently and collaboratively across diverse interfaces, deliver thorough work, and present effectively in meetings.
- Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
