Freelance Event Staff

Job description

Staff Aviv is building a trusted network of freelance event staff across Israel. We connect event planners, wedding planners, caterers, private hosts, and companies with reliable, vetted staff for events, weddings, private parties, corporate events, catered functions, and special occasions.

We are looking for professional, reliable freelancers who are available for flexible, gig-based event work. This is not a full-time role and there are no fixed weekly hours. When event opportunities come up, we will share the details, location, timing, role, and pay. You can accept the gigs that fit your schedule.

We are currently looking for freelance staff across multiple event roles, including:

• Waiters / Waitresses
• Bartenders
• General Event Staff
• Setup & Breakdown Crew
• Hosts / Hostesses
• Event Captains / Shift Leads
• Chefs / Private Chefs
• Musicians / Performers

This is a great fit for people with experience in hospitality, restaurants, catering, events, private service, bartending, music, cooking, hosting, or hands-on event work.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on the event and role, but may include:

• Serving food and drinks professionally
• Bartending or assisting with bar service
• Greeting guests and helping with check-in or event flow
• Supporting event planners, caterers, hosts, and event managers
• Helping with setup, breakdown, clearing, cleanup, and general logistics
• Preparing or supporting food service, depending on experience
• Performing music or entertainment for private or professional events
• Arriving on time and following event-specific instructions and dress code
• Representing Staff Aviv professionally at every event

Ideal candidate

• We are looking for people who are:
• Reliable, punctual, and responsive
• Professional and presentable
• Comfortable working in event environments
• Able to communicate clearly through WhatsApp
• Available for freelance gigs, especially evenings and weekends
• Based in Israel, with priority for Tel Aviv and central Israel
• Able to travel to event locations when relevant
• Experienced in events, hospitality, restaurants, catering, bartending, cooking, hosting, music, or related roles

Experience is preferred, but not every role requires formal event experience. Reliability, professionalism, and communication are most important.

Compensation

Pay varies by event, role, location, experience, and hours. Event details and pay will always be shared before you accept a gig.
