About The Role

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our team and play a central role in building and evolving the AI-powered experiences behind Mozo.

This is not a traditional web development role, you will design, build, and maintain AI agents that power real-time protection for millions of users, while also owning the full-stack application layer that brings these capabilities to life.

You'll work across the entire stack: crafting responsive, high-quality frontend interfaces with React and Next.js, building robust backend services with Node.js, and integrating AI agents that reason, decide, and act on behalf of our users. You should be someone who lives and breathes modern AI tooling, not just using it, but understanding deeply how AI agents work, how to architect them, and how to ship them reliably in production.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain AI agents that power Mozo's scam detection, identity protection, and real-time threat response capabilities.
• Develop frontend experiences using React and Next.js, clean, performant, and user-centric interfaces that surface AI-driven insights and actions.
• Design and implement backend services with Node.js, APIs, orchestration layers, data pipelines, and integrations that support agent workflows.
• Architect agent systems end-to-end: reasoning workflows, tool use, orchestration, memory, and evaluation following best practices for production-grade AI agents.
• Leverage AI development tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, and others) as core parts of your daily workflow to accelerate development, improve code quality, and prototype rapidly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and security teams to deliver features from concept to production.
• Own quality and reliability, write tests, monitor performance, and iterate on production systems with confidence.
• Stay at the forefront of AI agent development, evaluate new frameworks, models, and techniques, and bring the best ideas back to the team.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as a fullstack or software engineer in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI agents, including LLM-based systems, reasoning workflows, tool orchestration, and prompt engineering - Must
• Strong frontend skills with React and Next.js, you can build polished, responsive, production-grade UIs.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js — designing APIs, services, and integrating with databases and third-party systems.
• Deep fluency with AI development tools, you actively use tools like Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub, Copilot, or similar in your daily coding workflow and understand their strengths and limitations.
• Understanding of AI agent architecture, concepts like ReAct, function calling, chain-of-thought, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent memory, and evaluation/observability.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, clean code, version control, testing, and system design.
• Self-driven and proactive, you take ownership, move fast, and thrive in an environment where you shape both the product and the tech.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or identity protection domains.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
