Infrastructure Team Lead (Linux) | Leading Financial Organization 🚀

We are looking for a strong technical leader to head our Long-Term Savings (LTS) Infrastructure Systems team. This role manages a team of ~10 employees and combines high-level management with 50% Hands-on involvement.

The Role:

Lead the management and technology of LTS infrastructure systems as a professional authority, specifically in Linux environments.

Drive a strategic project to replace the company’s core system infrastructure, tackling complex application infrastructure challenges.

Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure products: from evaluation and implementation to maintenance and upgrades.

Execute infrastructure projects and work plans while reporting directly to the Infrastructure Department Manager.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in managing teams responsible for complex IT systems.

Proven expertise in RHEL and/or Solaris operating systems.

Hands-on experience with virtual environments, containers, and software repositories.

Proficiency in scripting languages and familiarity with automation systems.

Solid understanding of user management systems, including Active Directory (AD).

Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex faults and high service awareness.

Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Advantages:

Experience in infrastructure systems within financial or insurance companies.

Familiarity with Ericom systems.

Experience with ADABAS databases.

The position is located in Petah Tikva.
