Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Testing & Validation: Collaborate with R&D and QA teams to test and validate the company's multi-layered software architecture.
• Automation Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automation frameworks for the core SaaS platform.
• Lab Management: Establish, configure, and maintain complex network test environments, including hardware testing labs.
• Network Protocol Research: Work hands-on with networking protocols, simulating real-world scenarios across the layers of the OSI model.
• Traffic Simulation: Utilize advanced traffic generators to simulate high-volume network traffic and test system resilience under stress.
• Scripting & Development: Develop automation scripts and testing tools using Python or object-oriented programming concepts.
• Protocols & Networking: TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, BGP, OSPF, and deep familiarity with the OSI model layers.
• Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash, and OOP-based scripting languages.
• Traffic Generators: TRex, BreakingPoint, Avalanche, or similar industry-standard tools.
• Environment: SaaS products, complex multi-layered software systems, virtual and hardware-based labs.

Requirements-

• Sc. degree in Computer Science
• Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of networking and network protocols (familiarity with most or all layers of OSI model)
• At least 4 years of QA experience in complex, multi-layered SW systems
• Programming experience - scripting and/or OOP
• Experience with SaaS products
• Experience with traffic generators (Trex, breaking-point, Avalanche, Test center)
• CCNP/JNCIP certified
• A team player with excellent collaboration skills
