Pigments & Color Technology Lead

We are looking for a hands‑on technology leader to establish and lead an advanced pigment capability and serve as the professional authority within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an organizational knowledge hub for pigments, including chemistry, properties, application‑driven selection, processing considerations, and market landscape.
• Take full technological ownership of pigment and Masterbatch development, characterization, and quality control, across both R&D and ongoing production.
• Bridge R&D and manufacturing by defining processes, process windows, and driving implementation on production lines.
• Develop high‑end solutions for end‑use applications with stringent quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant academic background – preferably an organic chemist with specialization or strong experience in pigments.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the pigments field, preferably in an industrial or applied R&D environment.
• In‑depth familiarity with global pigment manufacturers and suppliers and the relevant market.
• Proven experience with pigment applications in polymers, Masterbatches, and processing technologies.
• Strong capabilities in pigment characterization, testing, and quality validation.
• Solid understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and interaction with ongoing production.
• Strong teamwork skills combined with professional leadership, mentoring ability, and matrix collaboration.
• High level of independence, initiative, and ability to build and lead a technological domain from the ground up.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences (R&D, manufacturing, management).
• High‑level technical English.
