Role Description

Responsible for coordinating and professionally managing all environmental aspects of the Light Rail (LRT) and Metro lines, including supporting planning processes, reviewing and controlling environmental documentation, implementing professional standards, and overseeing the execution and compliance with environmental requirements. Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and applicable professional standards across multiple disciplines, including acoustics, contaminated land, radiation, groundwater, air quality, and more.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (recognized by the Council for Higher Education) in one of the following fields: Natural Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Chemical Engineering, or Geology – mandatory

Professional Experience:

*At least 4 years of experience in preparing and/or reviewing environmental assessments in at least two of the following: landscape/environmental documents, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for statutory plans, environmental mitigation documents for construction phases, and detailed documentation for operational phases – mandatory

*Experience in supporting environmental permitting processes – advantage

*Experience in environmental supervision and/or monitoring on active construction sites – advantage

* Experience in environmental supervision and/or monitoring in transportation projects in operation and/or maintenance phases – advantage

* Experience working with and/or within the public sector – advantage

*Valid driver’s license – mandatory

* High level of English proficiency – mandatory
