A leading defense company based in Ashdod is looking for a Backend Developer to participate in the development of complex and mission-critical software systems in a challenging and impactful technological environment.
Role Description
Development and maintenance of backend software systems using C# and .NET Framework.
The role includes working with existing legacy code, developing new capabilities, and integrating with external systems and customers in Israel and internationally.
Work is performed in a multi-process environment utilizing a wide range of communication protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Backend development using C#, with at least two years of hands-on experience
- Practical experience working with .NET Framework version 4.8
- Experience developing and maintaining multithreaded applications
- Familiarity with communication interfaces and protocols, including:
- TCP / UDP
- REST
- WebSocket
- Experience with Protobuf and ASTERIX – an advantage
- Ability to work effectively with legacy systems and quickly understand complex software architectures
- High level of independence, personal responsibility, and self-learning ability
- Willingness to travel and perform on-site software integration at customer locations in Israel and abroad
- Security clearance – an advantage
