Engineering Manager

Ouna, our Programmatic Distribution unit, is building innovative programmatic Real Time Bidding solutions and B2C Products. Driven by technology and data, we drive impactful, people-centric marketing.

Your Impact and Mission:

• Member of Ouna’s leadership team, drive Ouna’s progress and success.
• Lead, mentor, and coach Engineers and Data Scientists, with lots of autonomy, responsibility, and ownership.
• Drive continuous progress and improvement - AI adoption, technological innovation, new tech and product ideas or directions.
• Collaborate closely with various operative and business stakeholders, build strong trust, communication, and workflows.
• Own all people related aspects such as hiring, reviews, mentoring, and career development.

Your Experience, Mindset, and Skills:

• Significant experience in managing a group of ~10 engineers including ICs, as R&D lead in startups or group lead in small-medium companies.
• Hands on experience with Data Engineering and Big data infrastructures - on prem and cloud (Hadoop, Spark, Scala, GCP/AWS) and manipulation of large datasets
• Experience in leading or working closely with Data Science teams and implementing ML/DL models to production.
• Experience with backend engineering of large-scale, complex, high-performance real-time systems (preferably Java).
• Production-level experience with agentic coding tools, MCPs, AI adoption and governance processes.
• You like to stay close to tech and people, and achieve scale, velocity, and breakthroughs using AI as your multiplier.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of change management including AI initiatives , process building and business to dev pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and passion to learn and share knowledge.
• Highly effective and delivery oriented, thrive in a high-paced and multi-changes environment.

It can be a great plus if you have:

• Experience in the online marketing / AdTech space
• Experience with auction base systems (e.g. Programmatic marketing, trading, Investment)
