Software Engineer in Test

Real Time Group, LTD is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join an our technology team working on complex embedded hardware-software systems and automated test solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of automated test systems (ATE / BITE) for mission-critical platforms.
• Software development in Python / C# / C++.
• Integration with hardware, boards, controllers, and embedded interfaces.
• Work with communication protocols (RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 / TCP/IP / UDP).
• Cross-disciplinary integration with HW, system engineering, and production teams.
• Debugging, optimization, and support of operational systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Software / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in Python or C# or C++.
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
• Experience with serial and network communication.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Git / TFS / ClearCase).
• Strong English (technical reading/writing/speaking).

Ways to stand out of the crowd:

• Experience with embedded / real-time systems
• Test & measurement equipment (Scope, DMM, Logic Analyzer)
• ATE frameworks (TestStand / ATEasy / OTM)
• SCPI / VISA / GPIB protocols
