Eshed Group is looking for a senior Hardware Development Engineer to join a top-tier defense company.

If you are a hardware expert with an experience in leading complex development cycles from architecture to integration—this is for you.

What will you do?

Define hardware architecture for advanced systems (electronic boxes, PCBs, and firmware).
Lead and manage hardware development performed by sub-contractors.
Formulate requirements, write technical specifications, and SOWs.
Lead hardware Design Reviews and manage work plans for development, testing, and integration.
Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanics, and system engineering teams.
Lead hardware environmental testing (HALT) and qualification processes.
Participate in complex system integrations and field trials.

What are we looking for?

B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Mandatory.
8+ years of experience in hardware development (Boards/Boxes) and integration – Mandatory.
Proven ability to design system-level hardware architecture – Mandatory.
Deep familiarity with hardware interfaces: SPI, I2C, ETH, RS-422, 1553 – Mandatory.
Experience in sub-contractor management – Significant Advantage.
Experience with CPU and/or FPGA components – Advantage.
Background in Analog design, Power Supply design, or RF design – Advantage.
