About the Role:
Zap Group, Israel's leading price comparison platform, is looking for a driven and experienced Category Manager to lead our Electronics & Home Appliances category.
If you have a deep understanding of the Israeli appliance market, strong relationships with suppliers, and a passion for e-commerce trends, we want to meet you!
In this end-to-end role, you will be the driving force behind the category's commercial success, managing everything from strategic planning to day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, manage product assortments, and take full ownership of P&L, sales targets, and profitability.
- Supplier Relations: Lead ongoing communication and high-level negotiations with major local importers and global brands to ensure a competitive edge.
- Market Expertise: Act as the internal authority on the electronics market, staying ahead of trends, new product launches, and shifting market prices.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze daily data to drive performance, improve conversion rates, and create market-disrupting promotions.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Category Management or Trade Management within the electronics/home appliances industry (Mandatory).
- Market Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with the landscape of Israeli electronics importers, brands, and market trends.
- E-commerce Expertise: Proven experience in digital trade and online category management – A significant advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills and advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Negotiation Skills: A proven track record in conducting complex commercial negotiations and closing strategic agreements.
- System Familiarity: Experience with Miracle software - A significant advantage.
