Software Team Lead

A highly innovative and award-winning technology company specializing in Industrial AI and Smart Manufacturing.

The company develops advanced decision-support and recommendation platforms powered by sensor data to optimize operations, reduce costs, and create autonomous manufacturing ecosystems.

Located in Herzliya (adjacent to the train station), the company consists of a growing team of tens of employees and operates mostly from the office, with a fixed work-from-home day on Sundays.

The Role

• Joining a newly forming Research & Innovation AI team, reporting directly to the Head of AI.
• Analyze large-scale sensor and production data to identify critical patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and build robust analytics frameworks.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor real-time systems effectively.
• Support model development through exploratory data analysis and validation.
• Perform root cause analysis within dynamic production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers across the R&I group.

Requirements-

• Relevant scientific undergraduate degree (B.Sc. / B.A.) – Mandatory.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in recent tech companies or startups – Mandatory.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with SQL – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark – Mandatory.
• Experience in the IoT industry – Significant Advantage.
• Familiarity with Data Lake architectures (Iceberg, Parquet) – Advantage.
• Experience working with AI tools – Advantage.
