Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our team.
This role is primarily focused on asset management, performance analysis, and developing actionable strategies to enhance the value of the company’s existing portfolio. The position involves hands-on analysis of property performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving initiatives across leasing, operations, and capital planning, with the objective of maximizing asset-level returns.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of active investments across the portfolio
- Review monthly and quarterly financials, including operating results, leasing activity, and capital expenditures
- Perform asset-level performance tracking, including cash flow analysis, variance analysis, and covenant monitoring
- Identify and develop strategies to improve asset performance, including revenue growth, expense optimization, and repositioning initiatives
- Drive execution of business plans, including leasing strategy, rent optimization, and capex planning
- Build and maintain financial models and forward-looking projections for existing assets
- Prepare quarterly investor reports and internal performance dashboards
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support asset-level strategy
- Work closely with property managers and operating partners to implement performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in real estate asset management, investment analysis, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to analyze and update operating models for existing assets
- Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals, including NOI, cash flow, leasing dynamics, and capex planning
- Experience reviewing property-level financials and identifying performance improvement opportunities
- Ability to translate data into actionable strategies to enhance asset performance
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets and financial reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing investor-facing materials
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment
