VoIP & IP PBX Systems Manager | Technical Lead
B-Smart Communication Solutions (2012) Ltd. is looking for an experienced, hands-on technology professional to lead the company’s VoIP and business telephony domain.
We are looking for a strong technical leader with a solid system-wide understanding, who can take ownership of our VoIP infrastructure, design and deploy advanced communication solutions for business customers, and serve as a professional authority for support and implementation teams.
The company currently works with MirtaPBX, alongside IP PBX systems, SIP services, and business communication infrastructures.
Role Description
This is an end-to-end technical role that includes planning, implementation, management, maintenance, optimization, and improvement of VoIP systems and IP PBX solutions for business customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing, maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing VoIP servers and IP PBX systems.
- Designing and deploying business telephony solutions according to customer requirements.
- Working with MirtaPBX and SIP-based communication solutions.
- Handling advanced technical issues, including SIP/RTP traffic analysis.
- Improving existing infrastructures, implementing new features, and optimizing technical processes.
- Leading and supporting communication and business telephony projects.
- Providing professional guidance, training, and mentoring to support and implementation teams.
- Writing technical documentation, work procedures, and internal knowledge materials.
- Working directly with business customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience managing VoIP systems and IP PBX solutions.
- Hands-on experience with IP PBX platforms and SIP-based communication systems.
- Experience with MirtaPBX – a significant advantage.
- Experience with Asterisk / FreePBX / Issabel / 3CX – an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols: SIP, RTP, TCP/UDP.
- Experience working in Linux environments, including server administration and CLI.
- Solid understanding of networking: LAN/WAN, VLANs, NAT, QoS, and Firewalls.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex VoIP issues such as one-way audio, registration failures, dropped calls, jitter, and latency.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and mentor technical teams.
- Service-oriented approach and experience working with business customers.
