Backend Developer (Digital Channels – Web & Mobile)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our digital channels team, working on high-scale web and mobile applications. This role combines hands-on Java development with collaboration across multiple teams in an Agile environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain server-side components using Java
• Support and enhance legacy backend systems (Java-based)
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Monitor and control development outputs and performance
• Build and deploy applications using automation tools
• Work in Agile squads and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering (Information Systems), or a related field
• At least 6 years of experience in Java backend development
• Experience in digital environments (Web & Mobile projects)
• Strong experience with Microservices architecture and Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs

Advantages:

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat and/or WebSphere
• Familiarity with cloud environments
• Background in the banking/financial sector
