Lead AI Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead AI Engineer to drive the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI solutions.

This is a 50/50 hands-on + architecture role, focused on building advanced RAG systems and AI Agents in a hybrid environment (Azure + On-Prem). You’ll play a key role in shaping AI strategy, delivering production-grade solutions, and embedding AI into day-to-day business operations.

What You’ll Do :

• Design scalable AI architectures based on LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents
• Build end-to-end AI services in production environments
• Develop robust RAG pipelines (ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval)
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems (SharePoint, APIs, internal platforms)
• Build reusable components for an internal AI platform
• Work with Microsoft 365, Graph API, and Teams
• Implement security, access control, and data protection mechanisms
• Partner with business units to define and deliver impactful use cases
• Mentor teams and promote AI best practices across the organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development / AI engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Proven experience building RAG systems in production
• Experience working with LLMs (Azure OpenAI / OpenAI)
• Strong background in system design and architecture
• Experience developing and consuming APIs

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure AI Search / App Services
• Familiarity with Semantic Kernel / LangChain
• Experience with SharePoint / Microsoft Graph API
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments
• Integration experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
