Mechanical Engineer

A leading company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

The role is within the R&D department and focuses mainly on design adaptations of existing products according to new customer requirements, as well as serving as the mechanical representative within projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical design adaptations for existing products based on customer requirements
  • Represent the mechanical discipline within cross-functional projects
  • Work closely with relevant internal interfaces within the R&D organization
  • Support engineering changes and product adjustments throughout the project lifecycle

  • Requirements:

    • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - required
    • 2–4 years of experience - required
    • Proven experience with SolidWorks - required
    • Experience working with a PLM system - required
    • (The company uses Teamcenter, but experience with other PLM systems is also relevant)
    • Experience in a defense company - advantage
    • Experience in mechanical design of products exposed to vibration and environmental conditions - advantage
