Real-Time Software Engineer

ELTA Systems is looking for an experienced Real-Time Software Engineer to join its software division.

Role Description

• Develop software in C++ for RT Embedded applications running on VxWorks and Linux operating systems for radar systems installed on various airborne and naval platforms.
• Work as part of a small, high-quality engineering team.
• Perform hardware-software integration activities.
• Provide simultaneous support for multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel abroad to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field – required.
• M.Sc. degree – significant advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience developing Real-Time systems in C++ – required.
• Experience with Git/JIRA – required.
• Experience in hardware-software integration – advantage.
• Experience working with VxWorks/Linux environments – advantage.
• High motivation, independent work capability, and flexible thinking.
