Senior AI Researcher – ELTA Division
About the Role
ELTA Systems is seeking a Senior AI Researcher to lead the development and research of advanced algorithms for radar-based systems. This role combines deep theoretical work with hands-on innovation in cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced algorithms and analyze complex mathematical problems
- Conduct research and development of new methodologies and technologies
- Author detailed algorithm design documents
- Analyze complex physical phenomena and translate them into computational models
- Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, and academic partners
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering – required
- PhD – an advantage
- At least 3 years of proven experience in algorithm development and/or research in signal processing or machine learning – required
- Experience in related domains (through industry or academia), or familiarity with standard AI development platforms
- Strong ability to work independently and lead research initiatives, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentorship experience or ability to guide junior algorithm engineers – an advantage
