Vice President Finance

Esh-Tech is a fast-growing Israeli company developing the next generation of Defense Tech solutions, operating at the intersection of deep technology and national security, backed by leading local and international VC investors with strong ambitious growth plans

We are looking for a hands- on VP Finance to build, lead and shape the company’s financial strategy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Strategy & Planning

•     Lead annual budgets, multi-year planning

•     Manage cash-flow and plane scenario

•     Deliver timely financial reporting and scenario analysis to the board

•     Define and track KPIs, unit economics, and financial health metrics

VC & Investor Relations

•     Serve as primary financial contact for local and international VC investors

•     Prepare board decks, investor updates, and due-diligence materials

•     Manage investor reporting obligations and maintain active VC relationships

Budget & ERP Management

•     Build and scale financial processes, controls and reporting

•     Own budgeting cycles, forecasts and variance analysis

•     Maintain ERP implementation and drive automation

Accounting & Compliance

•     Ensure full compliance with US GAAP and all statutory requirements.

•     Manage external auditors and tax advisors

•     Oversee month-end/year-end close, payroll, AP/AR, and expenses

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

•     5+ years Senior finance leadership experience in a high growth Startup or technology environment

•     Strong track record in financial planning, modeling and strategic decision support

•     Proven VC investor relations experience, local and international

•     Hands-on approach with the ability to build processed from scratch

•     Experience with ERP systems (Priority/SAP/NetSuite or similar)

•     Background in technology or defense-tech companies, strongly preferred

•     Fundraising experience (Series A/B and beyond) - a significant advantage

Skills

•     Deep expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and US GAAP

•     Strong ERP proficiency and process-improvement mindset

•     Fluent in Hebrew and English

•     High integrity, analytical, self-directed in a fast-paced environment

Education

•     B.A./B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or Economics - required

•     CPA license - an advantage

•     MBA - an advantage
