System Engineer

A leading defense company in the Holon area is looking for a Software System Engineer for a key role in advanced simulation systems development projects in the field of air defense.

Responsibilities:

• System engineering for the definition and implementation of air defense system modules
• Performing operational research / system analysis, analyzing results, and preparing summary reports
• Ongoing collaboration with multiple system engineering teams and stakeholders
• Working closely with development teams and integrating processes and algorithms into simulation systems
• Leading integration, testing, and validation activities with development engineers
• Presenting processes and algorithms to customers
• Leading design reviews and analysis reviews

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Physics / Systems Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Exact Sciences - required
• M.Sc. / Ph.D. -advantage
• At least 3 years of experience as a Software System Engineer - required
• Experience developing complex multidisciplinary systems / System of Systems - required
• Experience writing system requirements and detailed design documents - required
• Strong MATLAB skills - required
• Experience with Python / C++ - advantage
• Background in military / defense systems - advantage
• Broad system-level perspective and ability to work across multiple interfaces
• High level of English
