Role Description

We are seeking a CAE / CAD Engineer to drive simulation-led product development. This role bridges analysis and hands-on engineering, owning both virtual validation and physical design of components and assemblies. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between CAD modeling and advanced simulations to deliver optimized, manufacturable products.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical.
•  Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar).
•  Hands-on experience with CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, HyperWorks).
•  Experience designing real-world components.
•  Understanding of tolerances, fits, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to connect simulation assumptions with practical design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Experience with battery systems, enclosures, or high-power electromechanical products.
•  Background in nonlinear simulations (contacts, plastics, thermal coupling).
•  Experience with vibration, shock, and fatigue design.
•  Familiarity with sheet metal, castings, extrusions, and plastics design.
• Experience working closely with testing teams for validation and correlation
