Senior Frontend Developer

*Responsibilities:*

This is a senior position in a small team and suitable for those who wish to make an impact.

*Development & Coding:*

• Write production-grade client-side code, primarily React with TypeScript, and AngularJS (1.x) for legacy modules.

• Ensure code is clean, readable, testable, maintainable, and performance-conscious.

• Tackle complex technical challenges including cross-framework integration, micro-frontend architecture, performance optimization, and legacy modernization.

*Collaboration:*

• Work with a team of developers in an Agile environment.

• Collaborate closely with the team leader, product, and design teams to scope, refine, and deliver features.

• Own features end-to-end: design discussions, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

*Maintenance & Optimization:*

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests, and drive ongoing improvements to ensure product quality.

• Continuously optimize code for performance and scalability.

*Key Requirements:*

• Deep knowledge of React (including Hooks), with solid understanding of core principles in both React and AngularJS.

• Minimum 5 years of production React development experience — required.

• Excellent JavaScript fundamentals.

• 2+ years of production TypeScript experience, including advanced types and generics.

• Hands-on experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX).

• Experience with large-scale codebases and incremental migration of legacy systems (e.g., AngularJS to React).

• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OpenID Connect).

• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (Vite, Webpack) and module federation for micro-frontends.

• Comfort with ambiguity — able to make sound technical decisions while product definitions and designs evolve.

• Passion for UI/UX, with attention to detail and commitment to faithful implementation of design specs (Figma).

• Strong communication skills, including code reviews, technical discussions, and cross-team collaboration.

*Advantages (Nice-to-Haves):*

• Hands-on experience with AngularJS (1.x) — particularly valuable for working with our legacy modules.

• Hands-on experience with React Query (server state) and Storybook (component documentation).

• Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication patterns.

• Experience with micro-frontend architectures (e.g., Module Federation, iframe-based integration).
