Freelance Privacy / Data Protection Lawyer

We are seeking a freelance professional to support consulting activities in the fields of privacy and information security. The role involves assisting with compliance projects and supporting organizations in both regulatory and technological aspects of data protection.

Scope of Work:

Ongoing support in privacy-related projects, including preparation of compliance documentation, evaluation of information systems from a privacy perspective, and assistance with organizational privacy processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in privacy and data protection compliance projects

Draft and edit privacy and compliance documentation, including:

Privacy policies

Information security policies and procedures

Data mapping and data flow documentation

Vendor assessments

Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA / DPIA)

Support the review of information systems and technological services from a privacy standpoint

Assist in analyzing regulatory requirements and implementing them within organizations

Work extensively in English with documents, systems, and international vendors

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience as a privacy / GRC / lawyer/ information security

• Licensed attorney

• Native-level English proficiency - Must (high-level writing and reading)

• Familiarity with Israeli privacy laws and/or international regulations (e.g., GDPR)

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

• Experience working with legal and regulatory documentation
