IT Infrastructure Specialist

Join a global leader in renewable energy mobility as an IT Infrastructure Specialist, taking full ownership of the company’s IT infrastructure environment.

This is a unique opportunity to build and establish infrastructure processes from the ground up, in a hands-on, independent role that combines technology, vendor management, and project leadership.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring system stability, scalability, and high service levels across multiple sites, supporting the organization’s rapid growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, endpoints, and security)
• Manage external infrastructure vendors and service providers, including SLA monitoring and service quality control
• Lead infrastructure projects, including new site setups and system upgrades
• Monitor system availability, performance, and reliability
• Oversee support processes and ensure timely resolution of technical issues
• Handle and escalate complex infrastructure incidents, while overseeing information security and cybersecurity processes
• Design and implement infrastructure architecture aligned with business growth
• Manage user environments, permissions, and system access
• Work hands-on with cloud environments (primarily AWS), Windows, and Office 365
• Ensure backup, security, and compliance processes are properly maintained

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in IT within a mid-to-large organization - Must
• Proven experience managing infrastructure vendors - Must
• Experience in setting up sites, networks, and IT infrastructure - Must
• Strong understanding of complex infrastructure environments (cloud and on-prem)
• Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft / Cisco / AWS) - Strong advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field - Advantage
• Experience in geographically distributed organizations - Advantage
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on role
• Strong coordination, vendor management, and execution oversight skills
