Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong software engineering foundations, experience working on complex systems, and a strong interest in performance, reliability, distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure.

You will work on critical backend and infrastructure components that power intelligent access to blockchain networks. This includes systems that route requests across multiple providers, optimize for latency and availability, handle failover, monitor provider quality, and ensure reliable access to blockchain data at scale.

This role also requires someone who is comfortable interacting with customers, understanding real-world technical issues, and taking ownership of customer problems from initial investigation through full resolution. You should be able to translate customer pain points into technical analysis, coordinate internally when needed, and drive the problem until it is solved.

Experience with blockchain infrastructure is a strong advantage, but not mandatory. What matters most is strong engineering ability, ownership, and experience building robust systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend and infrastructure components.
• Build and improve systems related to request routing, provider selection, failover, retries, caching, and traffic optimization.
• Work on complex systems involving networking, distributed systems, APIs, data flows, and performance-sensitive services.
• Contribute to infrastructure that improves the reliability, latency, and availability of blockchain access.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve customer-facing technical issues from end to end.
• Interact directly with customers when needed to understand issues, clarify technical context, and communicate progress.
• Translate customer-reported problems into actionable technical tasks and long-term product improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure customer issues are fully resolved.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex production and infrastructure issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Improve system reliability, observability, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and team best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with backend, infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, or performance-sensitive applications.
• Strong programming skills in at least one low-level or system-oriented language such as C++, Rust, Go, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, networking, concurrency, and system design.
• Experience debugging complex issues in production or distributed environments.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical problems from investigation to resolution.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, understanding their technical issues, and communicating clearly.
• Ability to bridge customer needs with engineering execution.
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a technical team.

Advantages:

• Experience with high-throughput systems, low-latency systems, or networking-heavy applications.
• Experience working with enterprise customers, technical support flows, incident investigations, or production escalations.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.
• Security awareness or experience with secure software development.
