Quality Lead

The Role

We are looking for a Quality Leader who thrives on the production floor. This is a founding role where you will build the quality infrastructure for our new Yokne'am facility from the ground up. We need someone who understands that quality isn't just about paperwork- it’s about how the product is built, traced, and inspected on the line.

This is a full-time position based on-site at our company offices in Yokne’am.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Quality Setup: Establish and manage all shop-floor quality processes, including Incoming, In-process, and Final Inspection.
• Execution of Quality Workflows: Implement critical production controls such as Traceability, Router/Traveler management, and Serviceable Tags.
• Discrepancy Management: Lead the NCR, MRB, and CAPA processes to ensure any production issues are resolved and prevented.
• Standards Leadership: Drive the plant toward AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, with a heavy focus on FAI (First Article Inspection).
• Floor Presence: Work hand-in-hand with manufacturing teams to ensure "Zero Defect" culture and smooth RMA processes when needed.

Requirements

• Relevant Experience: Solid background in quality roles within a production environment- specifically in the Defense or Aerospace industries, aligned with the setup and management workflows of a production facility.
• Hands-on Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, from reading technical drawings to managing floor documentation.
• Process Orientation: Ability to implement the specific workflows outlined in our plant management system, such as Inspection, Traceability, and MRB.
• Pragmatic & Flexible: You know how to implement strict standards (AS9100) while staying agile enough for a startup environment.
• Communication: Excellent Hebrew and English to interface with both production staff and international regulatory bodies.
