AI Solutions Engineering Manager
We’re a fast-growing startup, recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Promising Companies this year, and we’re looking for an AI Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact, customer-facing engineering team.
This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of hands-on software development, team leadership, and direct customer engagement. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs, define the right technological solutions, and lead the implementation of scalable, AI-driven systems.
We’re specifically looking for someone with a strong background in software development, proven management experience, and a track record of working directly with customers — including gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Solution Engineers
- Take end-to-end ownership of delivery across multiple customer projects
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, analyze business processes, and define technical solutions
- Translate business and operational requirements into scalable software and AI-driven solutions
- Stay hands-on in development when needed, leading by example on complex implementations
- Drive execution of complex, cross-functional projects with clear priorities and timelines
- Build and improve delivery methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Identify repeatable patterns and turn them into scalable solutions, tools, and automations
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with product direction
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in software development (must) — ability to design and build production-grade systems
- Proven experience managing or leading technical teams
- Significant experience working directly with customers (must) — including requirement gathering, solution design, and delivery
- Background in Solutions Engineering, Technical Delivery, Technical Account Management, or similar roles
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions
- Experience working on complex systems, integrations, and end-to-end implementations
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills across multiple parallel initiatives
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to build structure in fast-paced environments
- Experience or strong interest in AI, automation, and modern software architectures — a big advantage
- Excellent communication skills, high ownership, and strong problem-solving abilities
