New Product Introduction Engineer

Position Summary:

The NPI Engineer will manage the critical transition of products from development to production, while ensuring close collaboration between R&D teams and production lines. The role includes full responsibility for configuration control and structured engineering processes, combined with deep technical understanding of electro-mechanical systems and the ability to develop and lead test setups and processes.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of the NPI process, from prototype through mass production.
• Configuration control responsibility, including part number creation and BOM build & management within ERP/PLM systems.
• Lead and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) across R&D and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain complete Manufacturing Data Packages (MDP) to support production at local and offshore contract manufacturers.
• Define Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) in collaboration with R&D.
• Develop automated test scripts (Python/LabVIEW - advantage).
• Analyze production feedback (DFM/DFA) and independently drive engineering issue resolution with R&D.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or Practical Electronics Engineer - required.
• Proven experience in scripting and automated test systems within NPI, validation, or manufacturing environments (e.g. Python) – required.
• At least 2 years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) / transfer from development to production.
• At least 2 years of experience writing work instructions and engineering documentation in Hebrew and English - required.
• Technical experience with HW components including writing working instructions and part replacement procedures.
• Experience with PRIORITY ERP system and PLM as Agile/Arena.
• High level of Hebrew and English both spoken and written.
• Strong systems thinking, with the ability to work independently and maintain a very high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across multiple interfaces and cross-functional teams.
