Overview

As a Financial controller, you will be an active and integral part of our finance team, receiving guidance and mentorship while taking on a variety of responsibilities:

• Assist and support the day-to-day accounting operations and financial management of the group.
• Play an active role in monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and assist with routine reporting to our publicly traded parent company abroad, strictly adhering to IFRS standards – gaining significant exposure to global finance.
• Support in budget preparation, monitoring actual performance against budget, and conducting variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities and assist in implementing new and more efficient accounting processes and workflows within the department.
• Conduct in-depth analytical reviews of company performance, including client profitability analysis, to support strategic business decisions.
• Provide professional and service-oriented support to employees, managers, and internal/external clients.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) collection processes and ensure timely Accounts Payable (AP) payments to suppliers.
  
  

Qualifications

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

• Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification – A must.
• Experience: 1-2 years of post-qualification experience either from a leading accounting firm (post-internship) OR as an Assistant Accountant/Junior Accountant in a business organization – A must.
• Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel – A must.
• Languages: High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) – A must (for communication with our international parent company).
• Significant Advantage: Previous experience with reporting to publicly traded foreign parent companies and/or in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Significant Advantage: Big4 alumni.
• Personal Attributes: Strong analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented mindset, high level of responsibility, proactivity, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
