Company Description
Ziv-Av Technologies, a leading multidisciplinary engineering company, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and take part in diverse, high-impact projects across electronics, complex systems, and advanced products.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design of assemblies and systems, with a focus on electronic enclosures
- Design and routing of electrical harnesses and cables within systems and enclosures
- Design of parts, fixtures, and assemblies from concept through production
- Creation of 3D models and manufacturing drawings, and support of development processes
- Collaboration with hardware, software, manufacturing, and integration teams
- Solving engineering challenges and optimizing designs for mass production
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Practical Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience
- Proven experience in electronic packaging / enclosures (defense industry experience – a strong advantage)
- Experience in harness routing and fixation design
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD tools
- Experience with Siemens NX – an advantage
Personal Skills:
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player with experience in multidisciplinary environments
