Chief Information Officer

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the strategic development, security, and resilience of our entire information systems landscape. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing complex operations across both highly classified and unclassified environments, ensuring strict separation and compliance.

As the CIO, you will act as a senior crisis manager and risk owner, leading system architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT services while driving cross-organizational change in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute IT and info-sec strategies aligned with organizational goals; advise executive leadership on technology and cyber risks.
• Operations & Architecture: Oversee classified, unclassified, and open networks; ensure secure system architecture, segmentation, and access control.
• Hands-on Technical Involvement: Maintain an active role in critical technical domains, including architecture decisions and complex operational issues.
• Cybersecurity & Risk: Own enterprise technology and cyber risk management; ensure full compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Crisis Management: Act as the executive lead during IT or cybersecurity crises, coordinating response and recovery efforts.
• Team & Service Leadership: Lead and develop IT and security teams while overseeing help desk and end-user services.

Requirements

• Senior Leadership Experience: Proven track record in senior IT or Information Systems leadership roles within the High-Tech industry.
• Security Expertise: Extensive experience managing classified and unclassified environments.
• Security Clearance: Active (or ability to obtain) Israeli Security Clearance (סיווג בטחוני) is mandatory.
• Technical Depth: Strong hands-on capabilities with the ability and willingness to actively engage in system architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Crisis & Risk Management: Solid background in risk management and leading organizational response to technical/cyber crises.
• Education: B.Sc. in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Graduate-level education (M.Sc./MBA) is strongly preferred.
• Competencies: Strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and a leader of complex, multi-department initiatives.
