FPGA Engineer

A successful technology company specializing in high-performance air defense systems and cutting-edge surveillance, intelligence, and observation solutions.

The company develops sophisticated aerial protection platforms and mission-critical tracking technologies.

Located in Herzliya (with dedicated shuttles from the train station), the firm employs approximately 200 people and offers a hybrid model with one day of remote work.

The Role-

• Joining a core R&D team to design and implement complex FPGA-based solutions for next-generation defense systems.
• Developing high-speed digital logic and processing units using VHDL in a Xilinx environment.
• Implementing and optimizing video algorithms for real-time surveillance and tracking applications.
• Managing the full FPGA development lifecycle, from architecture and coding to advanced simulations and hardware integration.
• Working closely with hardware engineers to analyze electronic schematics and integrate high-speed interfaces.
• Handling complex system requirements involving DDR memories and embedded systems.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of experience as an FPGA Engineer.
• Proven experience in VHDL coding.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Xilinx tools and architectures (Vivado/ISE).
• Strong background in implementing video algorithms.
• Practical experience with DDR memory controllers and embedded system integration.
• Proven ability to analyze and understand electronic schematics.
• Solid knowledge of verification and simulation methodologies.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Multi-gigabit transceivers) – a significant advantage.
