The Role

  • Leading the entire R&D division, overseeing the development of complex, multidisciplinary products from conception to global production.
  • Managing diverse teams of engineers and researchers across multiple domains, including software, hardware, and biotechnology.
  • Driving the enhancement of existing diagnostic platforms while spearheading the innovation of next-generation medical devices.
  • Managing the transition from R&D phases to large-scale global manufacturing (NPI).
  • Shaping the company's long-term technological roadmap and collaborating with executive leadership to meet strategic business goals.

Requirements-

  • Proven experience in senior R&D management roles (VP R&D or R&D Director) within the medical device or biotech industry.
  • Deep understanding of multidisciplinary product development (integrating hardware, software, and biology).
  • Strong background in Microfluidics or AI-driven diagnostic systems – a major advantage.
  • Experience in taking products through regulatory pathways and into global mass production.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow high-performing technical teams.
  • Academic degree in Engineering, Physics, or Life Sciences (Advanced degrees preferred).
