Board Design Engineer

A leading technology company specializing in high-performance air defense, surveillance, and observation systems. The company is at the forefront of developing next-generation aerial protection platforms, integrating complex multidisciplinary technologies.

Located in Herzliya (with dedicated shuttles from the train station), the firm employs approximately 200 people and offers a hybrid model with one day of remote work.

The Role

• End-to-End Hardware Development: Designing and enhancing high-power supply boards and analog circuits, ensuring compliance with strict military and civil aviation standards (MIL-STD and DO-160).
• Manufacturing Excellence: Optimizing manufacturing files and designing PCBs for high reliability according to IPC-600 and IPC-610 Class 3 standards.
• Lifecycle Leadership: Leading projects through the entire development cycle, from initial requirements and design reviews (PDR, CDR) to layout supervision, manufacturing, and Bring-up testing.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Working closely with Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and Systems engineers on complex, large-scale systems.
• Operational Support: Providing engineering solutions for production and design issues, updating manufacturing documentation, and writing comprehensive test documents (ATP, POD).

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in Analog Design and High-Power Supply units for military-grade systems.
• Strong capabilities in designing Digital boards based on FPGA and Microcontrollers.
• Hands-on experience with the Bring-up process for both digital and high-power boards.
• Proficiency in electrical schematic and design tools, specifically OrCAD and Allegro.
• Experience leading PCB layout processes in coordination with layout editors.
• Proven background in preparing and presenting design reviews (PDR/CDR) and writing test documentation (ATP/POD).
• Deep understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and assembly oversight.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
