We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure SQL Server DBA to join our team. This is an end-to-end ownership role- you'll be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of our database environments across complex, data-intensive systems.
What You'll Do
- Administration & Maintenance — Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances across Production environments
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery — Design and manage HA/DR solutions including AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, and Log Shipping
- Backup & Recovery — Build and enforce rigorous backup policies and validate data integrity
- Automation — Write T-SQL and PowerShell scripts to automate routine maintenance tasks
- Performance Tuning — Monitor and optimize performance at both server and query level, identify bottlenecks, and manage indexing as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Infrastructure DBA in a SQL Server environment
- Deep technical knowledge of SQL Server 2016 and above
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining AlwaysOn and Failover Clustering
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a graduate of a technology military unit
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and Execution Plans
- Microsoft certifications
- Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift
- Experience with PostgreSQL
