R&D Team Leader

Stable and profitable technology company developing a first-of-its-kind cloud-based platform for the US insurance market. Their systems revolutionize how insurance companies manage digital marketing and distribution, making operations more efficient, customer-centric, and data-driven.

With approximately 70 employees and two market-leading products already generating significant revenue, the company is self-sustaining and growing.

Located in Tel Aviv (Train-line), they follow a hybrid model with one day of remote work.

The Role-

• Leading a team of 4-5 developers, reporting directly to the VP R&D.
• Maintaining a 50% Hands-on split, driving technical excellence while managing the team.
• Owning the development of high-scale backend systems using C# and .NET Core.
• Working with a modern distributed architecture including Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and the ELK stack.
• Managing production-grade environments on AWS.
• Opportunity for candidates from other tech stacks to undergo a professional transition into the .NET ecosystem.

Requirements-

• 10 years of experience in Backend development
• 4 years of experience in a Team Lead / Management role
• Proven experience with .NET Core (or a strong desire to transition from a similar OOP background)
• Hands-on experience with Redis, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ
• Extensive experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
