Data Systems Engineer

We're hiring a Data Systems Engineer at Opyflow.

The role sits inside a global ERP project at one of our customers — a global electronic components company with operations across multiple geographies. They're modernizing their ERP landscape, and the work cuts across finance, supply chain, planning, and operations. The processes that worked when the company was smaller don't work at the current scale. Things get re-keyed between systems. Reports don't tie. People build Excel workarounds and call it a process.

Your job is to walk in, sit with the people doing the work, map what's actually happening (not what the SOP says is happening), and lead the redesign — across ERP and the systems hanging off it.

What you'll actually do

• Run process mapping sessions with business stakeholders across multiple sites and geographies
• Trace data and workflows end-to-end — from the moment a transaction is created to the moment it lands in a report
• Identify what's broken, what's redundant, and what's quietly costing the customer money
• Design the fix, then shepherd it through IT, vendors, and end users who don't always agree
• Coordinate between business owners, IT teams, and external implementation partners
• Write the requirements, specs, and runbooks that make the change stick after you're gone
• Support data integrity, reporting, and integration work across the customer's system landscape

What we want to see on your CV

• 3+ years as a Data Systems Engineer, business analyst, or ERP-adjacent process role
• Real depth in at least one major ERP — SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Priority, or Microsoft Dynamics. We don't care which.
• A track record on global or multi-site projects — comfortable working across time zones and cultures
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to process mapping
• English good enough to lead a workshop with stakeholders in Europe, the US, or Asia
• The ability to move things forward when no one is telling you what to do next

Helpful, not required

• ERP implementation or migration experience
• SQL, BI tools, or data integration platforms
• Background in supply chain, finance, or manufacturing — bonus points for electronics or industrial
• Hebrew
