Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Infrastructure Manager to lead our diverse teams responsible for security, networking, servers, and databases and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in IT, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in infrastructure management. This role requires collaboration with multiple interfaces and customers to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Teams Leadership: Lead and mentor teams responsible for security, networking, servers, and databases. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Infrastructure Management:

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including network architecture, server systems, and databases. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.

Security Management:

Develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard our infrastructure, data, and systems against internal and external threats. Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies.

Networking Management:

Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability.

Server Management:

Manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and middleware. Monitor server performance, allocate resources efficiently, and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.

Database Management:

Oversee database infrastructure to ensure data integrity, optimize database performance, and implement backup and recovery procedures.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements, prioritize projects, and address technical challenges. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates, resolve issues, and gather feedback.

Project Management:

Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Define project objectives, allocate resources, track progress, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in networking, server administration, database management, and IT security.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools and technologies, such as Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Oracle, FW etc.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
